Nope! We provide clean, one-gallon buckets for you to pick your berries into, and don't worry we have plenty of them! We also provide new plastic bags for your berries to travel home in. We are not allowed to reuse outside bags.
Yes! They help to pollinate our flowers and thus provide us with more berries. Also being outside, we cannot control the wildlife that chooses to visit our field.
No, we are not organic certified, but we are BMP! BMP stands for Better Management Practices, which means we carefully pick and choose our sprays based on what works best for us and our customers. It's also why we're closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so we can maintain the fields and make sure the sprays work through the plants' systems before reopening again. We don't let anyone into the field unless it's safe to eat out of!
On average, about 5 to 6 pounds will fit in a bucket. Though we have had some record-breaking 7 to 8-pound buckets!
We are usually open starting in Early November Thursday through Sunday 9 am to 4 pm, pending weather and fruit availability.
Around Memorial Day we start our Summer Hours, which is Thursday through Sunday, 9 am to 1 pm, pending weather and fruit availability.
We close our doors completely on Memorial Day, and will not reopen again until Early November.
We accept cash, check, credit cards, and even Apple Pay!
