Open for Strawberry Season! Please Call for Availability! 352-799-0556
During our picking seasons, we welcome local schools to bring out their students for a fun day out on the farm!
Students will be provided a 1-pound plastic clamshell container to pick their very own berries to take home with them!
We provide greens for everyone to feed the cows, which is always a fun experience for both students and staff.
We are always happy to help instruct on our current vegetable garden, as well as help pick out fresh vegetables.
We can contact the IFAS or Master Gardener programs to help bring out professional speakers to help teach a little more about agriculture in our state.
Subject to Availability
If students and staff can stay for a period to enjoy lunch or a snack, we provide picnic tables for everyone to sit and relax in the shade.
Limited Seating Available
We charge per student, just a touch over what 1 pound of fruit will cost to both cover the pound of berries for the student to take home as well as our time to come out and instruct.
You can make reservations at any time! We typically schedule field trip dates between January 1st and May 1st, any time before or after these dates is subject to the availability of both the staff and the berries.
If you're reserving a school trip for a Wednesday, we need a minimum of 25 Students to properly cover costs for us, and a maximum of 120 Students to ensure we can cover all subjects in a small time frame efficiently.
Absolutely! If your group of students is smaller than our minimum limit of 25 for a Wednesday, you're welcome to come out on a Friday when we're already open for picking! It's our quietest day of the week, and by making a reservation we can ensure to have extra staff to help instruct your students if desired.
Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have!
